Vision: A world where the rental housing experience is fair, informed, and positive for everyone.

Mission: To equip property owners with the tools, knowledge, and resources to create healthy rental communities.

About the Alameda County Housing Provider Resource Center (ACHPRC)

The Alameda County Housing Provider Resource Center (ACHPRC) was created to support small rental property owners in Alameda County, especially those in unincorporated communities. Recognizing that many small rental property owners face challenges navigating complex rental regulations, legal requirements, and rising costs, ACHPRC serves as a one-stop hub for education, guidance, and support.

As a pilot program funded through Alameda County’s Housing and Community Development (HCD), ACHPRC is led by the East Bay Rental Housing Association (EBRHA) and the Berkeley Property Owners Association (BPOA), under the Rental Housing Collaborative (RHC).

What We Do:

  • Offer free and low-cost legal guidance and compliance support
  • Host multilingual workshops on local laws and rental best practices
  • Provide live consultations, webinars, and downloadable resources
  • Connect owners with conflict resolution and mediation partners
  • Conduct outreach to reach small, immigrant, and BIPOC rental property owners
  • Focus on preserving affordable housing and preventing displacement

The Alameda Housing Provider Resource Center (ACHPRC) exists to empower small property owners with the resources they need to maintain safe, healthy, and legally compliant rental properties—creating stronger, more stable communities for both landlords and tenants.
