Housing Providers Gather for Community Luncheon to Learn About the County’s New Resource Center for Rental Owners in Unincorporated Alameda County

On a sunny afternoon in Hayward, local rental housing providers gathered for a complimentary Italian-themed luncheon at the newly opened Glad Tidings New Life Center to learn about an exciting new initiative — the Alameda County Housing Provider Resource Center (ACHPRC). The event, held in the heart of the unincorporated areas of Alameda County, brought together community leaders, rental housing providers, and support organizations to foster connections and share resources.
Doors opened at 11:30 a.m., offering guests an exclusive tour of the impressive New Life Center — a newly developed space designed to serve the local community. At noon, attendees were treated to a beautifully catered Italian lunch, where conversation and collaboration were in full swing.
The luncheon featured a lineup of notable speakers and presenters, each offering insights into how the ACHPRC aims to support and advocate for rental housing providers in unincorporated Alameda County. - Lucy Lopez, CEO of the Hayward Chamber of Commerce, and Gary Slate, CEO of the Castro Valley Chamber of Commerce, both shared how their organizations are supporting economic development and housing stability in the region.
- Representatives from the Alameda County Healthy Homes Department and A1 Community Housing Services also participated, offering resources and guidance on maintaining safe, healthy, and affordable rental housing.
